We have a solid foundation,
For God knows who belongs to Him;
Giving us our salvation,
Intensify vigor and vim.
So whoever worships the Lord,
Must give up doing something wrong;
His Word must never be ignored,
Or the agony will prolong.
There are many things in your house,
Objects made of silver and gold;
Vessels of clay used by your spouse,
Furniture of wood that unfold.
Some objects are precious treasure,
While others are really not;
For they only give some pleasure,
While in the store you had bought.
Stop relations with wicked things,
And you will be honored by God;
Rewarding from blessings it brings,
When healing where you have been flawed.
Avoid the lusts of temptation,
Pursue God through His approval;
Quit pleasurable sensation,
Confession for sin removal.
Pursue towards faith which gives you hope,
Together with the love and peace;
It helps you through life as you cope,
With the chaos that does not cease.
Worship the Lord with a pure heart,
Try not to quarrel or argue;
Keep in mind His Word to impart,
So life you can better construe.
So to everyone be kind,
While being a good teacher;
Those who oppose just ease their mind,
Being gentle as a preacher.
Maybe God lets them transform.
On the way on things they have sought;
To know the truth so they conform,
To a heavenly train of thought.
