Do you have the encouragement?
Do you have the comfort of love?
Does something give discouragement,
About God who is up above?
Do you have a relationship,
That is spiritual in nature;
That is giving companionship,
And making you a new creature.
So fill me with the type of love,
Giving you the same attitude;
Living in harmony thereof,
Keeping one purpose in the mood.
Act not out selfish ambition,
While never as conceited;
Building up your motivation,
That you cannot be defeated.
Rather humbly think of others,
Instead of thinking of yourself;
Sacrifice motives for brothers,
Putting your own on the back shelf.
Concern not of your interest,
Before your sister and brother;
Welfare of another invest,
Rendering aid to another.
Always have the same attitude,
Making it the same as Jesus Christ;
Never attempting to be rude,
And never to become enticed.
For Christ was in the form of God,
As well as for being equal;
With His Spirit we give Him laud,
Being daily as a sequel.
He made Himself by taking form,
By becoming like all humans;
Making Himself acting like norm,
The same as God had in His plans.
He humbled Himself till the loss,
Obedient till time of death;
Sacrificed Himself on the cross,
To give us life after last breath.
